Third Person Mode Introduced for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
The trailer wasn’t anything over the top. It just showcased your average run-of-the-mill Call of Duty promotional material, featuring guns, explosions and remixed songs from the 90s. But then, we were introduced to a feature that we haven’t seen since the original Modern Warfare 2 that was released back in 2009.
Infinity Ward introduced Third-Person mode once again. Although Infinity Ward presented this feature in the trailer, it’s still pretty vague how this will be implemented in the final game once it’s officially released. The third-person mode will basically act as a “modifier” according to the studio that could be activated within any multiplayer mode. Now, if you’re wondering if third-person mode will be introduced to Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, the answer is yes. It doesn’t seem like the studio is focusing on third-person mode for the most part, but if it remains popular, they might permanently add it to the game. The mode looks pretty impressive this time around in contrast to the camera mod that was introduced back in the original Modern Warfare 2 back in 2009. The camera setup was pretty janky and pretty strange, but overall, it was pretty loved by the community. But will this affect gameplay? That’s pretty obvious considering third-person mode will enable players to see past corners without needing to peek, something our brothers over at the PUBG community is accustomed to.
