Original Story
Yesterday the final DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla dropped as a surprise for the fans as the intended date for release was still a week away on 6th December 2022. Ubisoft already confirmed that this DLC will complete the story of Valhalla, and it will be a farewell to the game before the devs move on to their next big project, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Interestingly, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter sets the foundations for the story of Assassin’s Creed Mirage as the DLC has already introduced the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Basim, and his mentor Roshan. However, the story of these two characters will be explained more thoroughly in the next game, as this was only like a teaser to set up the game’s hype. Another interesting fact about Assassin’s Creed Mirage is that it was initially planned as an expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Still, according to Ubisoft, the stakes became too high to introduce the game as a DLC. It was only fair that Basim gets a dedicated game to express his story, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage got an official announcement and reveal at Ubisoft Forward 2022. As for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, it looks like it is not the last content the game will be getting, at least according to the Youtuber MAK Moderator. A video was uploaded on the said channel showcasing the various characters from a well-known FPS game, Destiny 2, by Bungie. According to the video, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be getting Destiny 2 cosmetics as part of a collaboration between the two games. MAK Moderator said that he had dug into the game files and extracted the code shown in the video after processing it through the Cheat Engine (CE). You can look at the rumored Destiny 2 characters and weapons that could appear in the game below.
And the description of the video suggests that there is more other than the showcased cosmetics as it reads: However, as there is no official confirmation or statement from Ubisoft or hints about this collaboration, it will be wise to take this news with a grain of salt. That is all we could gather about this rumor; we will keep you posted upon receiving any further valuable information about this collaboration. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter is now available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. So, What are your thoughts about this?
